Frequently asked questions

Are children invited?

We've decided to keep our wedding an adults-only celebration, so we won't be able to include children on the day. We hope you'll see it as a lovely chance for you to let your hair down with us too.

Can I bring my pet?

We adore animals, but sadly we're unable to welcome pets at the venue. Registered assistance dogs are, of course, always welcome.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Any plus-ones will be named individually on your invitation.

What is the dress code?

Black tie. It will be the depth of winter, so do bring a warm coat for arrivals and any time spent in the gardens.

What time should I arrive?

Please aim to arrive by 12:30pm so everyone is seated in good time. The ceremony begins at 1:00pm.

How do I get there, and where do I go?

Enter the postcode SY4 5UZ into your sat-nav, and use the entrance next to the golf club. There are a few ramps on the drive up and one gate you'll need to buzz through, so please allow a little extra time. Full details are on the Travel & Stay page.

Is the venue accessible?

The driveway has several ramps and one gate. If you or anyone in your party has mobility needs, please let us know on your RSVP and we'll make sure you're well looked after.

Is there anywhere to stay?

Yes, plenty. There are enough rooms on site for everyone to stay over, starting from £195 per night (with premium rooms between £350 and £400), which you can request on your RSVP. We even have a 25-room minimum to fill, so you'd be doing us a real favour by staying the night! Nearby hotels are listed on the Travel & Stay page too, and are handy if you'd like to stay the night before or after.

If I'm staying over, when can I check into my room?

Drop your bags with the staff when you arrive and they'll look after your luggage until your room is ready. Check-in is from 3:00pm, so you can slip away and settle in during the drinks reception or later.

I'm travelling on the day. Can I freshen up at the venue?

Of course. If you're arriving straight from a journey and would like to change or put the finishing touches to your outfit, there's a powder room for the ladies and a generous, spacious WC for the gentlemen. Do allow yourself a little extra time before the 12:30pm arrival if you'd like to use them.

Do we need to bring confetti?

No need to bring your own, we'll have plenty of confetti on hand for you to throw.

Will the ceremony be unplugged?

We'd love you to be fully present with us, so we kindly ask that phones and cameras are put away during the ceremony. Our photographer will capture everything, and you can snap away again afterwards.

I have dietary requirements. What should I do?

When you RSVP, there's a box for each guest to note any dietary requirements or allergies. Pop them in there and we'll pass everything on to the caterers.

What about gifts?

Your presence is truly the only present we're after. If you would like to give something, a cash gift is warmly appreciated. There are details on the Registry page.

When do I need to RSVP by?

Please let us know by 7 November 2026 using the RSVP page. We can't wait to hear from you.
