By car

Free on-site parking is available in the grounds. Cars may be left overnight and collected the next day.

By train

Nearest stations are Wem (approx. 15 minutes) and Shrewsbury (approx. 30 minutes). Rural taxis are limited, so please pre-book.

Dress code

Black tie. It's the depth of winter, so do bring a warm coat for arrivals and any moments outdoors in the gardens.

Finding the entrance

Pop the postcode SY4 5LG into your sat-nav to find us. When you arrive, please use the entrance adjacent to the golf club. The driveway climbs up to the Hall, and there are several ramps along the way, plus one gate you'll need to buzz through before you reach Hawkstone Hall, so do allow a few extra minutes.

Where to stay

Happily, Hawkstone Hall has plenty of rooms on site, so there's space for everyone to stay over if you'd like to. Rooms start from £195 per night, with premium rooms priced between £350 and £400. If you'd like one, just say so on your RSVP and we'll be in touch with the details.

A small confession: we have a minimum of 25 rooms to fill, so honestly, you'd be doing us an enormous favour by staying the night (and there's no better excuse for a lazy breakfast with everyone the next morning). If a night on site isn't for you, here are a couple of nearby options, which are also handy if you fancy making a weekend of it with a stay the night before or after:

Hawkstone Park Hotel

The Hall's sister hotel, a short drive across the estate.
